This half day tour offers a unique blend of architecture, archaeology, history and culture.
Delight in visiting the Plaza de Armas where you will find the Cathedral built on the site where the Inca Wiracocha’s Palace once stood. Then off to Qoricancha the most important Inca Sun Temple, once a glittering palace. Continue by transport above Cusco to the nearby ruins of Saqsayhuaman, a religious site for the Incas but called a fortress by the Spaniards. Be amazed by the huge large carved granite stones. Thereafter, we go to Qenqo (labyrinth or zigzag) thought to have been used for death rituals and to embalm bodies by the Incas. We continue to Puca Pukara an Inca military lookout with large walls, terraces and staircases. Finally we visit Tambomachay the Inca baths consisting of four walls built directly into a hillside. After a glorious time we return to Cusco.

You will be met at your hotel to start the Cusco City tour. Visit the Cathedral with its outstanding collection of colonial art and continue to Qoricancha (temple of the Sun). Thereafter, we drive up to the ruins above Cusco for a visit of the immense complex of Sacsayhuaman. Continue to Qenqo which represents the Andean Constellations, Puca Pukara (Red Fort) a military lookout, and Tambomachay where fountains built by the Incas capture the waters of a natural spring. After a grand tour we return to Cusco.
